Dawson Creek RCMP seeks witnesses in suspected arson

first_imgDAWSON CREEK, B.C. — The RCMP is seeking witnesses in what is believed to be an act of arson that took place in February at Lawrence’s Meat Packing Plant in Dawson Creek.On February 20, the Dawson Creek RCMP responded to the report of fire at the plant on Fourth Street.A shed was burned to the ground and officials found accelerant on a vehicle tire nearby.- Advertisement -Police collected video surveillance, which revealed two suspects entering the property and loitering in the area.The two can be seen near several vehicles, including the one the accelerant was found on. They then approach the shed and can be seen fleeing the area soon after. The surveillance footage then shows the shed begin to burn, and the suspects leave for good.The RCMP is requesting that anyone with information regarding this arson come forward to help identify the culprits.Advertisementlast_img
