FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – No news is also good news for the Halfway River Fire.The fire has not grown past the 5,000 hectares it grew to yesterday. The fire is also still contained at 50%.The B.C. Wildfire Service says that operations have gone well, and will continue today.“Dozer guard west of Farrell Creek on the SW flank is complete, patrol and mop-up continues on the perimeter where possible.
